Outside Activities: Golf etc.
Close to Bali Hai you will find many attractions such as golf, shopping centers, churches, nightclubs, surfing,
and a casino.
Golf:
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo recently opened The Cliffs Golf Course, a nine-hole, par 72 all-weather
championship golf course. The course features a unique ocean hole that is undoubtedly one of the best Par 3 holes
in Asia.
Nearby Baguio City also has two excellent golf courses.
Banca Boat Hire:
Our reception staff can arrange banca boat hire. Go to white sand beaches (two hours), or go fishing or diving. You can
also make an all day trip to the Hundred Islands.
Casino:
The Thunderbird Casino at Poro Point is open 24
hours.

Bali Hai PT Safari Club:
Each Wednesday Bali Hai holds its PT Safari Club. This is a club in the loosest possible sense:
there are no fees, no committee, and no rules.
The "club" is simply a group of residents (with visitors) who get together at a different venue
each week to enjoy each other's company, have a drink, lunch, and possibly play dice - the famous 1
or 5 To Stay Alive. (The only Physical Training at our PT is throwing the dice or lifting a
glass.)
The PT starts at 11 o'clock and usually goes until about three o'clock in the afternoon. The venue
provides drinks and lunch specials at inexpensive prices. Members pay for their own orders.
We supply transport to the host venue.
As a Bali Hai guest you are always welcome, so on your next visit to Bali Hai, come along and enjoy
the fun of a new venue!

Our reception staff can arrange day tours for you in an air-conditioned van. Our drivers all speak English and will
act as your tour guides.
Shopping:
San Fernando City is only 5 kilometers north of Bali Hai and has many shops and supermarkets. You can easily get to
San Fernando by taking either a jeepney or a tricycle. You can also shop for souvenirs in the town market or from
beach vendors.
Churches: There are many in the area.
